Art Consultant works across the acquisition, development, and presentation of contemporary art.

The practice is led by Cassandra Lehman, an experienced curator, advisor, and arts professional with over two decades of work across the contemporary arts sector.

Her background spans senior curatorial and leadership roles within major arts organisations, alongside independent advisory, artist representation, and project-based work. This includes the development and delivery of exhibitions, collection strategy, artist commissions, and the integration of artworks within architectural contexts.

Lehman has worked extensively with contemporary Australian and international artists, with particular experience across Indigenous Australian and Southeast Asian practices. Her work is informed by a strong curatorial framework and a deep understanding of the cultural, institutional, and commercial contexts in which art operates.

The focus of the practice is on building collections and projects that are coherent, well-positioned, and enduring.

Based in Brisbane, Art Consultant operates nationally.
